Jesus said:
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
John 15:4
Here is a way that you can remain connected to Jesus:
Pause – Spend a few moments in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your reading of the Bible.
Scripture – Write out the verse or passage of Scripture that the Holy Spirit has shown you for that day. Here are the scriptures for each day this week:
Monday March 27 | 2 Corinthians 10, Psalm 53 |
Tuesday March 28 | 2 Corinthians 11, Psalm 54 |
Wednesday March 29 | 2 Corinthians 12, Psalm 55 |
Thursday March 30 | 2 Corinthians 13 |
Friday March 31 | Review |
Saturday April 1 | Mark 1, Psalm 56 |
Sunday April 2 | Mark 2, Psalm 57 |
Observation – Write down any observations you make about the scripture. Try to explain the passage in your own words.
Application – Write down how this verse applies to your life. What is God calling you to do or to remember as a result? What is your next step and how can you be obedient?
Prayer – Write out a closing prayer. Use this final section to speak back to God about a request or a commitment.
Share – Look for opportunities throughout the day or week to share with others how God spoke to you through this passage.
