Our Answer to Question 2
The bread represents Jesus’s broken body and the cup represents Jesus’s blood that was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus told his disciples to eat these because they have their life not only from the physical food that they eat but because of the gracious gift that God has given to us in Jesus and his sacrifice.
