Our Answer to Question 2
We can see that, despite taking the father’s money and wasting it, bringing shame on himself and on the family, the father still welcomes him home. This father welcomes the son back into the family, not as a servant but as a member of the family.
God did the same thing for us in that, even though we sin and do not follow God’s law, he still loved us enough to send Jesus to pay for our sins.
